| In the twenty years we have
been coming to the island. We have never stayed in such a pretty place
as this, and had such a warm welcome. As you can see we enjoyed our stay
so much on our first week we decided to stay another week. Thanks for

| As the crow flies we are little
more than 30 miles away, but due to the Solent we may as well be 300! It
was so nice to receive such a pleasant welcome and to stay in such
pleasantly converted stables. It is a great base from which to explore

ideal location. We have enjoyed our week so much, and wish we could stay

best we have ever stayed in. It is bright, clean, well equipped, and the
extra touches of the hamper etc. make it! We had some lovely walks on
the downs, beautiful views. Food was great at the Countryman. We had a

| Had a fantastic 10 days here in
what is a very pretty and well equipped little cottage. Great weather,
did alot of walking using the coastal paths. Brighstone is one of the
prettiest villages and ideal for a morning coffee, before setting off
for a days exploring. Welcome pack was greatly appreciated as I forgot
to bring tea bags and sugar! Excellent location in which to see round
the island and hope to return to finish our coastal walks in the near

| Very relaxing few days in an
extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage - didn't want for
anything! Can recommend The Crown Inn in Shorwell (5 mins drive) very

before Xmas, and we have done just that. What a gorgeous romantic
cottage. The Isle of Wight reminds me a little of N.Z., we have

| Accommodation was excellent &
we felt well looked after from day one. The Stables had a great feeling
& atmosphere which made it perfect to 'come home to' each night.

| We had a most enjoyable time in
the well equipped cottage, everything thought of down to a tea strainer.
We have walked the coastal path from Alum Bay to St Lawrence, plus some
inland walks. We have relived out time here 25 years ago, enjoyed the
friendliness of locals and visitors and survived Tennyson down in the
semi mist - scary. New Inn at Shalfleet very good as is the Countryman.

| Have travelled in torrential
rain and thick mist along the coast road, we were more than pleasantly
surprised to arrive and find our accommodation 'Carriers Stable'. A
delightful holiday home, excellently finished with very many home from

Stable justice! Five star accommodation which must have taken a lot of

| We found "Carriers Stable"
on the net & what a wonderful find it was! It is so very
comfortable, brighst & clean, we wanted for nothing. The welcome
basket was so thoughtful & much appreciated. We enjoyed sitting at
the table to have our brekfast & enjoy our view through the French
doors. It was lovely and relaxing to sit at the picnic table in the back
garden & write in my journal about our wonderful holiday one the
IOW. We were even visited by a beautiful pheasant one sunny afternoon!
The weather has been fabulous & we've enjoyed getting out &
about to see all the lovely sights on the island. The views are
breathtaking! The village of Brighstone we found to be very friendly for
shopping & browsing & meals at the Pub, within easy walking
distance. If only we could stay longer, there's so much to see & do!

| Wonderful two weeks holiday
made perfect by this superb cottage and the weather helped. Anyone going
to Newport on the No7 bus should be aware that there are two No7's out
of Newport one takes 20 minutes the other takes 1hr 20 mins. Diamond

week walking, pub lunches, cream teas and swimming in Compton Bay. Would
recommend Steephill Cove Cafe, accessed via the botanic gardens at
